I am deeply excited to have started a subscription group called The Joy Scouts, which offers a chance to play an instrumental role in the Joyage of Discovery around the UK and also to gain access to exclusive content, super fun treats and meets and a whole host of other surprises along the way. I aim is to continue to create a supportive and joyful community of Joy Scouts all around the UK offering a host of in person and online accessible events.

Look, it is vital we keep reminding ourselves to have joys regularly and this little wheel is packed full of inspiration. BUT we need YOUR help. As Joy Scouts in your own right (I mean, your still inquisitively reading this aren’t ya?!) we want you to share your favourite things from you magical secret spots to the sound of a baby laughing or a particular song that gets your toe tapping, or some mad crafting occasion that was really mindful and pleasurable, or even a terrible dad joke to add to our repertoire! Whatever it is we want to hear it. Pop it in the suggestions after ou hve spun and earn stars to be redeemed at a later date!

Come and stay in our bonkers Air BnB by the sea in Margate, Kent, UK. My colourful abode packed with surprises and joyful design. From a bright yellow bathroom to a kitchen like a disco ball, the cloud like hidden bedroom or rainbow beaming skylight, this 2 bedroom apartment is perfectly located in the middle of town to access all the fun of the Margate faire!

I have embarked on my mission in my lovely van Nova to seek out the most joyful PLACES, PROJECTS & PEOPLE on a road trip throught the UK. From bonkers to beautiful I want to explore it all and be the go to person for incredible community gathering events on this faire isle!

Little Bit Margate was my segway back into society and something I am immensely proud of. For 8 years my cute and quirky little shop brightly lit up Old Town square in Margate and became a haven for meeting like minded and curious souls. So many friendships were made and along with it so many amazing artists and designers I got to meet along the way. Everything stocked in Little Bit was joyful to behold. That was its ethos. If it didn’t make me smile, it wasn’t allowed in the shop.

Feeling socially awkward? Oh gosh tell me about it! It is something i have experianced intensively myself and so I aim to ensure that Buddy Clubs are comfortable and confidnece boosting experiances. Its like speed dating for friends but without the stress or anxiety. If you want a Buddy Club to come unite your community then get in touch and lets cook something up!

It is a big project I am undertaking and it is taking up a vast majority of my time so anything you have to spare and sling in this direction I will cherish, no matter how big or small that may be, and I will endeavour to repay in joyful treats in the not so distant future.
