Welcome to the Joy Scouts

Enrolment is currently paused at the moment, but don't wander too far. The Scout Den doors will swing open again soon, and we'd love to welcome you aboard.

So... what exactly is a Joy Scout?

A Joy Scout is someone who believes that life feels better when we actively seek out moments of wonder, connection, kindness and play. Someone who knows that joy isn't just something that happens to us. It's something we can create, share and pass on.

This community was built for curious humans who want a little more colour in their lives. People who fancy trying something new, meeting like-minded folk, exploring creative ideas, discovering hidden corners of the UK, sharing acts of kindness, laughing at terrible jokes, and finding glimmers of goodness in everyday life.

Inside the Joy Scouts, we gather for workshops, adventures, challenges, guest talks, creative projects and seasonal celebrations. Some members dive into everything. Others quietly pop in when they need a boost. Both are equally welcome.

At its heart, the Joy Scouts is about creating a ripple effect.

One act of kindness.

One new experience.

One brave step outside your comfort zone.

One moment of joy.

And then sharing it with others and seeing how it flourishes. If that sounds like your kind of adventure, keep an eye on my socials for news of the next enrolment window.

Until then, why not start scouting out little moments of joy wherever you are? We'd love to hear what you discover. Maybe eve pop them in our new Wheel of Wonder as a suggestion!

Mega love, Polly & Dude 🐾

What we do…

the key to this is COMMUNITY. To feel apart of something bigger than just you.

A joyful revolution all together.

Joy can often feel indulgent, so I hope that together we can encourage us to experience more together and give each other permission to seek out more. Not only that but work together to curate some magic moments of creativity and connection in our local communities.

Below are just some of the things we do throughout the month in the Joy Scout Den.

Jokes

My love for crap dad jokes took on a new level with a Joke Generator I have made so all Joy Scouts will have a dad joke at their fingertips any time of the day or night!

Print-ables

A whole heap of downloadable content. From reward badges to gratitude diary’s to the Joyage of Discovery Calendar, jam packed with not to miss dates for your diary.

Craft Projects

I have a confession… I am crap at crafting and so stopped messing about with pots of glue and essentially stopped ‘playing’. So I want to give us permission to be a bit crap! Permission to play and try. Craft club is a simple hour of making. Either following along to a tutorial with a guest or working towards my greater goal of making things to bring a smile to the communities we live in.

Wiggle

Discover new ways to move your body. A live workshop each month to energise us from the outside in.

Read

A reading list chocablock of inspiring and uplifting reads from fiction to fact, fascinating and fun books for all.

Happy Habits

Learn how we can make positive changes to brighten our days. From mindful meditation sessions to gratitude journals and learning its benefits and debunking the complicated bits.

Accessing our brains fundamental ability to be rewired to a brighter frame of mind.
